Alison Hramiak is a Senior Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. She is a course tutor on the for the ICT PGCE course and is also a Faculty Fellow for Assessment and Feedback. She also teaches on the MEd and EdD courses.
She has been involved in e-learning research and ICT related pedagogic research for over nine years. Her research interests include the ICT based technology for trainee teachers and also assessment and feedback.
She has published in a wide range of journals and on web sites such as ESCalate, and has also presented her research at many national and international conferences. She is co-author of Learning and Teaching with Virtual Learning Environments (Learning Matters, 2007). She has also recently co-edited Understanding Teaching and Learning in Secondary Schools with Terry Hudson and is also currently contributing to a number of other teaching and learning related books. She reviews papers for the ITTE associated journal Technology Pedagogy and Education and is a fellow of the HEA.
