Andrew Csizmadia is a Senior Lecturer in Education, PGCE Secondary Computer Science Subject Lead and Programme Leader for Aston/Newman at Newman University, Birmingham. He is a certified Microsoft in Education Teacher Trainer, leading workshops on how both trainee teachers and in-service teachers can design lessons which embrace 21st century skills. Previously, Andrew taught Computer Science and Information Technology in secondary schools, sixth form and a FE college. Andrew has managed a number of regional, national and international computing related projects.
His research, scholarly and professional interests include ‘Computational Thinking’, ‘elearning’, ‘esafety’ and ‘computer science education’ and he has presented on these topics at both national and international conferences.
