ITTE responded to the call for evidence to inform changes to Teacher’s Professional Development. The Standard has now been published and you can access it at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/standard-for-teachers-professional-development. ITTE’s National Executive Committee has been invited to work with the Teachers’ Professional Development Expert Group to help to make sure that it starts to make a real difference to teachers’ professional development.

We encourage you to share the Standard with your colleagues and leadership teams to help promote greater understanding about what makes the best professional development, and contribute to more consistent high-quality professional development in all our schools.
